About the Festival
Peterborough Arts Fest – prepare to be amazed!
Peterborough Arts Fest 2013 is set to be bigger and better than ever before, packed full of street arts, circus acts, street performers, installations, extravagant visual displays and strange goings-on ….
This year’s newly named Peterborough Arts Fest has been developed with the support of the ZEPA 2 network, an innovative project partnering seven major English and French Festivals. Thanks to the ZEPA 2 partnership Arts Fest has expanded to include three main elements for 2013, namely Festival on Tour, Festival Field Day and Festival Finale weekend.
Moving to different dates in August and September, Arts Fest will visit more locations in Peterborough this year including the City Centre in and around Queensgate shopping centre, Central Park, Peterborough Cathedral, Flag Fen, Key Theatre and the riverside embankment area.
Peterborough Arts Fest will kick off on 4th August with a series of events taking place during the month as part of Festival on Tour and Festival Field Day in Central Park. The Festival Finale weekend will be held at a new location on the riverside embankment during the weekend of 6, 7 and 8 September.
Peterborough Arts Fest is brought to you by Vivacity Culture and Leisure. An independent not-for-profit organisation with charitable status, that manage Peterborough’s most popular culture and leisure attractions on behalf of Peterborough City Council.
